Intrigued by what you mean explain more? With this type of neutral puzzle I stack the squares and triangles on each group then move them to match the opposite piece one after another. I usually don't do neutral looking puzzles like this preferring more varied color.

I do that with all the puzzles. I call them "rafts".

Also, well at least with the puzzle cuts I do mostly, repeat groups of puzzle pieces within the whole puzzle.
