Believe it or not, there is a pretty large increase in the number of adults of normal intelligence that enjoy coloring. Some use crayons, and some colored pencils. Companies advertise adult coloring books and pages on the internet. Personally, this means to me that we have way too much free time. When an adult reverts to a behavior that was common when they were 4 years old, something is wrong.

I love to colour! Guess there's something wrong with me then! As in I have way to much free time :) Then again, I'm doing jigsaw puzzles online. I have a disability which means I'm not working now. It's forced me to stop working actually. Colouring and doing jigsaw puzzles settle me. So I'll continue.And enjoy them. Love doing them.

My sister in law
is 93 and she lives alone
about a year ago she started drawing and coloring
she just looked at a picture and drawed it
she did real good
she said she got tired of it and quit
we have all tried to get to keep on but she wont
i got 3 or 4 on my living room wall
i wouldn't take anything for them
Rake them into biggest pile and then the kid in me has to jump into the pile and get the leaves all over. Then I'll rake them all over again. I just love Fall. No tree leaves to rake with my house though :(

Great for compost, though. I always add as many as I can to my compost bin for the benefit of the spring flowers as well as the bushes and trees.
We don't either, debbie, here in n.e. Fla. Where are you?

The middle part of NY State must be at least a week behind the usual fall progression. Not many of the leaves have changed. The scenery is in that between seasons dullness mode. Hopefully they will turn within a week. Western NY is often quite nice and it has great antique shops, also.
