If it is Play Dough, the colors have gotten a lot brighter than ours was in the early 60's. Sometimes, I think that the kids are surrounded by too many bright colors at an early age. Maybe this affects their ability to concentrate and thus learn. I have noticed that by the time the kids are in middle school they seem to favor black only. Maybe this is a reaction to their exposure to glaring hues in early life.
