I think so! To me it looks like they are on top of something like a porch roof, because there's a higher roof above them...but how strange -- they don't look like they'd all go on the same house!

It looks like they are hung from the eaves and the railing of a the balcony behind them. What a fun way to keep out the sun but let some air through. An old fashioned screen before screens existed.

I think it might just be a hobby. Thank you for writing back to me. I don't get that much any more. When I first get on the puzzles I go and read what is going on with every one. I would like to do puzzles around the same time but being in NC puts me behind everyone. Sometimes I write something but I don't think it gets seen because everyone is on to the next thing. I wrote about Sam's son had a baby boy a couple days ago. It was his first and probably last because it took him until his late 30's to find the right girl. We are so happy for him. Another "Dent" to keep the name going.

Manatee I see now what you described, I'm sure you're exactly right! I couldn't figure out why such random shutters were up there hanging together -- they are there for shade! Mystery solved.

Aknan and bopitextreme, Thank you for good wishes on the baby. They send pictures on Facebook about every day. Today there was a closeup of Brian holding sleeping baby on chest. So sweet. He said he clipped his nose hairs before the picture was taken. Ha! He is 42 and I bet he has never held a tiny one like that. He is in heaven. Thanks for the thoughts about the shutters. Interesting.
I bought a bunch of those louver type doors at various yard sales. After about a decade I used most of them on a closet I built in our basement for laundry detergent and other things. I love louvres.
Have to do singign prcatice and get back outside. Still lots to do today.

We had lots of shutters on our house in New England. My sister and I had the job of painting them one summer, Not much fun for teenagers! My job today is cleaning bed linen. One of my cats threw up on the bed.

I washed laundry a couple days ago. Today, I'm continuing my job search today, as well as apartment hunting. Everything is extremely expensive; one bedroom and the one bedroom/living room, can't recall that word, anyway, everything is costly.
