Didn't care for today's choices so picked this. I don't remember having done it before, but I'm already posted in comments so I must have.

Looks like they would be smooth to the touch.

I'm more into beach shells than gemstones, albeit they are pretty.

Not a hard puzzle but very pretty.

Well, heaven knows we have earned a beautiful May after being shut up all April! Have a wonderful day, elijah13. Is your sister feeling better?

Our daughter is bring some steak for dinner. It's nice here today no storms today!

"The cat, in dignity and independence, is very much like the human animal should be but isn't. Perhaps that's my strongest reason for choosing the cat as a subject for the human animal to watch: some of the dignity and independence may rub on the watcher. - Paul Corey"

Have a Great Day to all!

Or the watcher may, like his subject, sleep all day.

Nborchardt, yes my sister is doing better. Thanks for asking. Monday my niece and I go to the lawyers. I want to change some things in my will. I want to put her "kids" and one of her sisters in it. It's been about 15 years since I had it done.

Don't you love the old musicals? They had so many great songs.

I love the old musicals. Did 3 of them when I was in high school and have seen 3-4 live productions from traveling shows. My favorite is "Phantom of the Opera". I love musicals, and my husband is learning to tolerate them!

Lucky you. Our one HS musical was cancelled because the music dept teachers were fighting with eachother...the rehearsals conflicted with choral practice. (I was in three choruses but didn't land a lead in the show so I wasn't all that disappointed when it got cancelled. And I wasn't all that thrilled with Bye Bye Birdie which is what the teachers picked.)
I saw quite a few Broadway productions because I went out with a fellow who took me to them and also got lucky when no one would go with my mother to those to which she got free tickets through my father's workplace. Also saw two (Showboat and Song of Norway) at the floating theater at Jones Beach. It was wonderful and so romantic to be out under the stars.
West Side Story is probably my fav but only by a little and I only saw it as a movie. How do you pick?

As a voice major in college, and having sung all my life, I look at the songs and how well they follow and add to the story. I have the dvds of 19 musicals, but my very most favorite movie/musical is "Good-bye, Mr. Chips", with Peter O'Toole and Petulia Clark. I saw in once in 1967 and fell in love with the music and story.

Huh. That's one I never heard of. I knew there was a movie but not a musical.
I got my MSEd in voice but never got to perform in anything except my solo recital. I didn't sing any show music--just art songs and opera. At the time I had a coloratura range and finished the recital with Jesuis Titania. Love that aria but can't do it any more. The e flat is a half step too high now. I did Queen of the Night at a recital at our local library. It was recorded and picked up on a local station. I have the VHS of it somewhere but I wasn't happy with the sound. I didn't have a full, rich voice. Have worked hard on it since but now that I have a fuller sound I can't reach the higher pitches. I could do most show tunes but never have.

I love the colors of these stones. I worked in a gem/rock/jewelry store one summer learned more about the stones and semi-precious stones. I've always been interested in them. Not too hard, not too easy......just right. Have a lovely peaceful and safe blessed day.

Jake would have loved your store. That kid had a rock and gem collection that had just about every rock he could find even a lump of coal his brother gave him for Christmas. Jake wanted it and Jim came through for him. I wish I had his collection but I have no idea what happened to it.
