I remember when we would put a pretty autumn leaf between wax paper sheets to press them with an Iron for saving.

Beautiful close-up. "Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go."

That's a very interesting perspective, xyxy. I had something like that happen. I used to die my hair. At 50 I decided to stop and "let it be." I have had more compliments on it than I ever did when I died it because by then God had turned it platinum.

Dye my hair although it seems with the amount that falls out the other die might be more appropriate now.

I just realized you use die or dies or died but if you turn it into a participle it's dying no matter which dye/die you were using. Or do you keep the "e"when you convert dye to dyeing?

Very interesting quote. I've never thought of it like that, but how true.

Lol I know when to use dye and then die. I saw a news article and they were talking about someone dying - and they used the word dye - they should have used the word die.

I find myself using the wrong homonym when I write and then when I reread my text I realize I did.
Often I forget to check b4 I post. I may have spelled homonym wrong. I have the feeling I left out a silent "n". Very frustrating. I used to be a cracker jack speller.

No worries pixi - I was an awesome speller as well. Then I worked in an office one day and inadvertently asked a co-worker how to spell a word - he looked at me funny - and I said oh Geez! - I was really tired when I asked him. There was a hair salon here that was suited and the family won. The salon paid $635K in damages.
