Thank You. My best advice for you would be talk to an insurance broker. I did and am very happy with the supplement insurance I got.

Mamag, we found the AARP/United Healthcare supplement plan M was best for us. It covers everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - Medicare doesn't. We don't have HMOs in Alaska, so no medigap policy here. I have friends in WA who use that; doctgors regularlay cycle in and out of the program and they are never sure their doctor will be approved...governments!

Mamag, I know what you mean about the oodles of mail coming in about medicare and medicade. It drove me crazy until we signed up with AARP/United Healthcare. Now we get bombarded with mail from them, even though we "signed up" to get only emails from them.
