What's going on at 3:00 a.m., not even the worms are out that early. Ha ha. My darling cats get me up at 5 and that does not make me happy in the least, but I have no backbone when it comes to them. Get some shuteye bopit.

Ha, I know what you mean, micki, I will do anything for my cat! I end up staying up late because I have no daily schedule, so if I'm having fun - doing puzzles, watching s good program - it's hard to make myself go to bed! But if I had to get up at 5, I'd find a way to make myself!

Our cat has Sam trained. We have a doggie door at one end of the house that she uses a lot but when she comes in she will get a bite to eat and drink. then she'll hang around the living room for awhile. Sam sits at the table at his computer close to the front door. Pretty soon she will go to the front door and meow and meow loud until Sam gets up to let her out. We time her how long it will be before she comes back in the doggie door. Sometimes it may be five minutes. I sit here behind Sam at my computer table but I won't let her out. Sam has a bad back and it hurts to get up but he does it every time.

Our cat used to meow at my dad when she wanted more food (dry). He'd go check and if there were any bites left he'd point at them one by one and say, "Eat that one." She'd grumble but eat it, until they were all gone. Then he'd fill it up again. It was so funny. She could also hang by a doorknob and open it! Taught herself how to do that. Cats are so much fun, aren't they?

I just got back from trying to finish a painting but had to flee the spot as I got attacked by bees. Apparently while unpacking my equipment I threw something over the hive (which was a hole under a tree). I got about 5 stings so I thought it wiser to go to town for antihistamine and head home. If it had been one or two I might have tried to start another painting at a differewnt spot. The bees somehow identified me as the problem and kept after me. A worker at the park retrieved the things I put too close to the hive and she wasn't stung at all. I had on a long sleeved flannel shirt but they stung me right through it. What a waste of a day but maybe, since some folks have bee sting allergies and I don't, it saved another individual from an attack that might have been more serious.

Cat day for one of my kitties--check-up. It's my "fat" one so my niece has to come over and get her in the cage--can't do it anymore.
