Love these but in Florida they freeze in the winter so have to take them in and shelter them. Not an easy puzzle!

Beautiful coleus. I had one as a house plant. It really thrived under my care. The only plant that ever did!

I plant 16 coleus in a square patio pot every year and they are just beautiful. I also have 2 smaller pots of them on my front porch. They take very little care, just a lot of water.

There is an Alabama judge Roy Moore who was stood down from the bench because he refused to take the ten commandments down from his courtroom wall. He wrote a wonderful poem, google his name and I am sure you will find it.

Should be more people like him and I really admire him and the stand that he took.

God bless all of you - have a wonderful day.

Aussiesapphire, I did find and read that poem, very good! and it is shameful what is happening to America, but I do not believe God has removed His hand from us yet. God bless America!

It's so cockeyed, isn't it? Where do people think the law came from in the first place?

Aussie, cindy28, and pixipixil, I totally agree! I think that our founding fathers are turning over in their graves right now!

Aussie! That is a beautiful poem and so true as well. I agree Terabyte, our founding fathers must be turning in their graves. I believe, Cindy 28, that God is still here. I saw a bumper sticker one time that said, "America God has blest us now we should bless Him"!

I like that bumpersticker, mountainmana. I believe we should stand and praise Him, instead of focusing on the negative.
God is good.

Coleus is one houseplant I have good luck raising. It rarely dies from over watering and I can be propagated from sprigs stuck in ordinary dirt. It's almost time to get the plants I started out in the ground. Right now I'm ferrying them in and out to harden them off. Today I'll probably finish setting up the rain barrels. Happy spring gardening to you north hemi's. Happy harvest time to you south hemi's. And to those with steady climates, happy sunshine. Hope you have a lovely day/evening.

If you put cuttings in water, within a week they will develop a root system. Easy peasy. I have a few of these beauties in my garden, all thriving. One of them is different shades of green with a frilly edge on the leaf. Very pretty.

Beautiful colors. Would love to have a garden but with two knee replacements, I cannot get down and plant or weed.

Hey, they have those sit on rolling carts for gardening, or maybe someone could make u one with a cushion to sit on? Its therapeutic to me to garden, plant & weed...so what do ya think?

I like that idea. My husband is drawing plans for a wooden garden box that I can use for planting without having to get on my knees. Thank you for that great idea. I will try to get one and maybe then I can I can my garden.
