45 rpm with a little plastic insert that fit into the center hole--the one that fit in juke box players--to make the record fit on the record player spindle where the 78 rpm and 33-1/3 rpm records played. Long time ago, my friend. Long time ago.

I sure do remember. I still have all my old 45's and listen to them once in a while. It takes me back to the good old days!

WOW...are you lucky. My mom threw away all my teen stuff when I got married--even my stuff from London & Paris where I went for High School trip.
I totally agree with you. Todays music is not music that I want to listen to. Give me up until about the 70's, then it really changed--and not for the better!
Had lots of these. Hardly listen to music anymore, mainly becasue it really isn't music like I'm used to listening to. Liked up until about the 70's, then all of it changed--and not for the better.
If I read this right this was something like a blank cassette tape where you could actually record music you wanted onto it. Hadn't seen one in 45 rpm size. And likewise I still have vinyl......
