Ah, if the sailors of old could have had access to citrus fruit...When it was discovered that the lack of citrus in their diets caused scurvy, limes and other citrus were added to their daily ration of rum. Oh such jolly sailors, at least until the punches began to hit.
I have a Meyer lemon in the backyard carolsapple and the lemons are huge. No so good this year because of little rain, but had it cut right back so am expecting a good lot next time. Hugs.

I love Meyer Lemons and eat them just like an orange. What season are you in now Aussie? We are heading for summer next week. The weather has been pretty nice here but we really need rain. Take care.

Thanks Annie, more rain predicted but sunny tomorrow so have to get the washing done. I have crossed Michigan on the back of a motorcycle :), lived in Canada for two years and Louisiana and Texas for six years. Long time ago but met lots of nice people in that time. Hugs.
