Interesting facts! Thanks, aussie! We are in the chaos known as "Election Day" here in the US and I pray that it will be a peaceful day today and all this week as ballots are counted. My sister went to vote this morning and was horrified that there were at least 30 people in a small room and no "social distancing". She said that when she and her husband got home they put everything they were wearing in the washer with hot water including their coats. One reason my husband and I did absentee voting to escape the confusion that is going to be today. Blessings, my friend, and have a nice calm day!

Nborchardt - oh well do we know about the US election, it has plagued our news for months now, bet you don't get the same sort of airtime when we have an election here. I will be so glad when it is all over and we can watch some more interesting news like how many people have died from corona19!! Hugs (virtual ones lol)

My family coined a word that rhymes with purple. Murple.
It describes a color that is not clearly any known color --- but maybe a combination --- and not too pleasing at that!

They look like MacIntosh to me. I have found that the best combination for a pie is MacIntosh and Granny Smith --- more M than GS. Makes me want to bake!
