Pretty tree. I miss a tree and decorations but my husband can't do all the lifting anymore. When our granddaughter stayed with us she would help but she doesn't come very often because they moved out of this school district.
Trees I have seen but never had in the house, allergic to tree scent. Love trees and decorations, some from our house in San Francisco, 1959. Cherish them forever.

We stopped putting "icicles" on our Christmas trees the year our Siamese cat ate them off the bottom of the tree. We never got back into the icicles. I can't remember when we stopped putting garland on our trees.

I agree with you. I live alone and my sister lives across the street. She just lost her husband so have spent more time with her since she is alone. Nothing Christmas Eve but one of her daughters (my niece) is bringing over Christmas dinner and will have a few of the family with us. My sister and I are 86 so I don't care for too much activity. Have a good, quiet Christmas.
