Jamp124 I agree was not easy at least for me, but very festive. Be safe on those icy and snowy roads and be safe even if you have good weather. Bless you all.

Hi Darambo, May you and your husband have a wonderful Christmas. Hugs.

Looks good enough to eat.

The principal advantage of the non-parental lifestyle is that on Christmas Eve you need not be struck dumb by the three most terrifying words that the government allows to be printed on any product: "Some assembly required."
- John Leo

There are three stages of man: he believes in Santa Claus; he does not believe in Santa Claus; he is Santa Claus.
- Bob Phillips

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

John Leo must be a parent. 3 other terrifying words late Christmas Eve are: "Batteries not included."

Good morning all. That quote from John Leo was a good one. He must have had children. After having my son made me realize why all my aunts and uncles were there, to help put toys together for the 6 of us.Luckily we only had one to put together toys for. ParsonWayne to me" some assembly required "was more terrifying than " Batteries not included ". P.S. "Batteries not included " was a really cute movie, it's a family movie. A little on the old side on vhs not dvd. Aussie hope your weather has improved. Be safe.

One year when my children were small we spent as much on all of the batteries we needed as for the toys they went in to.

I like the Phillips quote...my husband is a "natural" Santa. Meaning he has the white hair and beard (only not this long) and natural padding. lol! He even has that twinkle in his eye and a very sweet disposition. All year round, children approach him when we're out in public, and he loves it! He asks them if they are being good and minding their parents. They always giggle and say yes. It's so cute! I'm so blessed to have such a loving husband in my life!

Merry CHRISTmas to all!
