Enjoyed this colorful puzzle. Enjoyed the puns also. I remember the snow and cold growing up in Iowa. Not bad here in NC. The other night we had 4 inches. We live in the south. Sam had bought a new truck a couple years ago and was hoping to drive in snow. I told him he would have go to the mountains for that. He stayed up almost all night then slept in and it had already melted on the street. He was very upset. We have more coming but probably not much. We did have quite a bit up north. Surprised he didn't take a drive.
I remember using one of these in Chicago as soon as we could write things. My mother sat one on the kitchen table against the wall and made us copy things from there. Of course, that was the "teacher" in her.

WOW, today's temperature will be high of 16 degrees with more snow expected. 46 degrees to me right now sounds like a heat wave!!

I lived in Florida in town called Kalarney, but was changed to Winter Garden. Lived on John's Lake. Hated it. Too many alligators that would bask on boat docks on top of one another in the hot sun. No fences allowed and they could walk right up into your in ground swimming pool!

Elijah13, I live in northern Illinois about 8 miles from the Wisconsin border. We have had 2 consecutive days of overnight snow....I hate shoveling snow more than I hate winter. You can tell I'm getting old because I "grouse" so much about the cold season!!!

Quicktone2, I know Winter Garden. I taught for a long time in Ocoee and lived in Orlando. We can have fences now. I understand what you are saying.
