Mothers, we did the best we could for our children. We gave them love and nurtured them to the best of our abilities. Some children do not realize or appreciate the sacrifices we made for them. We love them regardless. Happy Mother's Day and may God bless each of you.

Cool in Northwest Missouri, too. I'm ready for summer! As a mom of 8, I am thankful for EVERY ONE of them. Seven teenagers at the same time was a TRIP. (twins in the middle of the crew) But I am still here....and we all still speak to each other! :-)

Yes, it was a great day; saw most of them and chatted with ALL of them at some point. 4 live close to me; the other 4 are in the state of Missouri so we see each other fairly often.

Yes, this is a rather dull puzzle. Where are the flowers, chocolates and maybe a nice little cake? It is raining here to on Gulf Coast FL. But not too bad, on and off rain. Have a lovely day to all.

Thank you, Aussie. Happy Mother's Day to you also. My child can't get in touch and with this virus my husband didn't go out for any card or anything--in fact I had to ask him to wish me a happy mother's day. He didn't get a card last year either before the virus. He says all this stuff is just a merchandising scheme. Men!!!
Here's a Mother's Day story. I was at Mass but it wasn't our parish and the priest had the children come up to the altar to get a pin for their mothers to give to them. Having no one to get one for me I had none. Then I forget what happened...maybe the priest had all of us with no one to give us a pin raise our hands and I ended up with two pins. I saw it as God's seal of approval in spite of the unhappy outcome. Who needs a human HMD when God is there to give you one?
