When I look at the picture on the thumbprint, I always see a hand instead of a tree. It looks like someone is holding the monkey out to show it to the world. God's hand introducing it to Adam to see what he would name it, perhaps? Or is my imagination just too wild?

God bless you all.

I'm probably the only one here who feels this way but I've never liked monkeys.

I always wanted to see the monkeys first when we went to the zoo when I was little. I would say "Dad, I need to show you to the monkeys".

They are so comical, just make you smile seeing their pictures.

I have had some funny conversations in my quest to change my name back to my maiden name. One of the places I called yesterday was the company with whom I had my car insurance. Towards the end she asked me if I knew they now have pet insurance to which I replied, " don't have any pets except for several thousand ants invading my yard." And she said "do you know all their names" and I said "no, but I know how to get rid of them. You put polenta on their nests and they eat it and cannot digest it and end up exploding, and I just lie in bed at night wait to hear those mini explosions." She was hysterical on the other end of the line and I am not sure that she has had such a conversation in the past hahahaha.

God bless all of you and be kind to each other. Hugs.

Great story, aussie! When we lived in Oklahoma, we had big ant beds in the pasture, which were dangerous to the cattle and horses, as the soil on top was thin and fragile, just right to break a leg. We used to pour cyanide crystals down the nests and finally got rid of them all. Not a funny story like yours, but true.
