Do you have a vaccine for shingles in U.S.? We have one here in Australia, but only in the last few years. Get well soon.
We do have a vaccine - you get it in two parts. It's effective in that if you should contact shingles later on, it's a much milder case. Had it once and that was enough! Stress over discovering I had breast cancer brought it on. That was a year ago and I still have some light scarring and neuropathy on my upper back. I urge everyone to please, PLEASE get vaccinated if you haven't been already!
People are slow in typing today. Could be the weather here, but I am a bit sluggish too. It's raining and gloomy today. Well, plus I have the shingles, so moving a bit slower. But it's not too bad. Have a good, peaceful day.

Thank you tomandray and I wish you the same. I know how you feel, I had shingles also. When I got them I had no idea what was wrong with me, all I knew it was very painful. When I went to the Veteran hospital they told me what the stabbing pain was. I will pray for you it does not last and you will heal soon.
