Just saw Free Solo about rock climbing without gear. Heart-stopping to see this young man climbing El Capitan. Even the men who were supposed to film it couldn't watch parts of it. Now that he did the "impossible" I hope he has enough sense to stop. Funny. I watched the whole documentary and still don't know the fellow's name. Just shows the vanity of risking one's life that way.
They did a brain scan of him which showed he did not have normal emotional responses. Anyone with normal nerves couldn't have taken the tension.
