Beautiful - we had a real downpour this afternoon and it has certainly cooled things down. Soaked straight into the ground, so will do the garden and lawns good.
Aussie bet the rain felt really good and I'm sure your garden loved it. Speaking of your garden, how is it this year? The pics you sent last year were beautiful, I bet it's even prettier this year. I have got to trim my lilac bush this year, it is getting almost too big for me ro take care of, much taller than I am. Speaking of height when I was at the doctor last they measured me and I lost about 1 1/2 inches so no longer 5'6" only 5'4" now, no wonder I was walking on the back of my pants lol!! Darambo, last year I had a test for calcium in my bones and when the measured me I had lost 2 inches....talk about shock!!

Nborchardt amazing how much height we lose. I remember my Mom who all my life was taller than me until her last few years, what a shock when all of a sudden she was shorter. When they say you shrink when you get older I never imagined it would be so much!! A really bad snow storm just hit us about an hour ago, got a weather alert about just before it hit. Supposed to get up to 30 inches. If how early winter started is an indication we're in for one heck of a bad one this winter. Be safe

Aussie I discovered why my waist had increased when I found out where the inches went that I had lost in height. It's like when you push down from the top and up from the bottom it all goes to the middle. Inches are not lost just relocated.

Rambo, me too. I eventually lost 3" height and gained 4" around same weight.

Nborchardt well thank goodness we didn't get 30", just 4". Wish weather would be a bit more accurate. Soooo glad we only got 4" this time. We have been getting snow since the beginning of October, started early this year. Be safe.
Lovely. If I were young I could enjoy a walk around that park. I'm not so the cold and dark are enough to keep me in a warm house.
It would make a lovely painting.
I have done only three paintings with snow. One I did on acold sunny day. Trekked across the lake to do a spot on the other side.
That was scary.
