Too much milk and no fruit please. Winter time, my husband sends me to volunteer knitting with rolled oats in a thermos that have been covered with boiling water. Enough so that it's still thick. He adds raisins. Yummy later on!

What is volunteer knitting? I just finished knitting my grandchildren something they can wrap up in to keep them warm. I have 2 in VT and 3 in N.C.

We had hoped to get up there. We live in Alabama and find the travel by car daunting. Travel is scary, too.

Our weather is ridiculous, lovely but certainly not winter. Today was 19 degrees, we are having whole weeks of 18 and no rain. Farmers are getting desperate. My son has been at Surfers for 5 days and complaining about the weather (rain) but still enjoying it. xx
