What a good thought --- "a little Christmas every day."
Something to look for and strive for--- little kindnesses would do it!

Felt like I was putting the tree together while working this puzzle.

Funny! We put up our big tree this past weekend, well one of them at least. We have two to put up. Just started to decorate. We're having a houseful of relatives for Thanksgiving and need to be ready early. That will be our Christmas with that family. :))

That will be nice. Having family around for the holidays is wonderful. I've noticed a few houses around us have their trees up and decorated. Ours is up, but not decorated. It takes forever to get the branches just right. We are thinking about leaving it up after Christmas and decorating it for other holidays.:)

Now that is a really great idea! A Valentine tree, Easter tree, 4th of July tree all red/white/blue and a Fall tree with garlands of cascading leaves, that would be spectacular! :) What would you do for a summer tree?

Maybe summer flowers, either separate flowers or in garland form. Maybe a few butterflies or birds to fill in. I wrapped the garland around tree from top to bottom in a spiral form. Our craft store just put their fall items on sale, and I bought garlands with beautiful fall leaves that look so real. Brought them home and put on tree with the lights and it is beautiful for Thanksgiving. I'm excited about it. :))

Your idea sounds very nice regarding the summer flowers, birds and butter flies. Your fall tree must be beautiful, sounds exciting. Having company for Thanksgiving? I've been baking for Thanksgiving and Christmas, place all the items in large tins and put the tins in freezer wrap and off it goes into our large freezer. Nice to get a jump on the holidays. :))

Yes, we are having neighbors for Thanksgiving. They are sharing in the cooking. Great idea getting your baking done early. Makes the holidays more enjoyable when your having lots of company. Putting your baked items in tins, wrapped in freezer wrap, is a great way to do them. Never thought of doing it that way. When I bake early, I put in freezer, but never put it in the tins. Thanks for the idea. :)

Yes, you're welcome. :) I put cut out sheets of parchment paper between the layers of cookies or bars to fit the size of the tin. Helps to keep the layers from sticking together. That way it's easy to remove one layer at a time when company comes. And they think you've been baking all day with all the variety of baked goods. :))

Again, thanks for the help. It sure will make baking a lot easier this year. Not doing a whole lot of baking, but what I do will sure be done in your fashion. :)

As a child we had wonderful ornaments like this on our tree. My aunt would send them to my mom. Thanks again for the memories!
