If you see a frog like this anywhere nearby and you are offered frog legs to eat - politely pass on the offer. It might taste like chicken, so have that instead.

He looks like glazed ceramic. These guys come in so many bright colors. I like the royal blue ones and the orange and green. This color combo doesn't appeal to me. I think I'll poison my darts elsewhere.
Hope your day is colorful with no poison.

This colour combo was very trendy in the 70s...poor froggie's a bit outmoded! But like Rod Stewart sang - he wears it well....lol!

Pixipixil has taken me forever to get caught up on puzzles and the comments so missed what happened to your son till went back and saw the comments. Just want you to know I am so sorry about your son and the things you have had to go through and hope that things have gotten a little more peaceful for you and your husband now. So sorry!

Thanks seaview. So many seem to think the grandkids would be a blessing but the circumstances around the two mothers are so off kilter that the best thing we can do is withdraw from the situation and live as we did when first married.
We are quiet people and do not thrive on being in court to fight with folks. Now that we have lost our son we hope to never go inside a court again.

Crlyblonde how is your husband doing? Hope you have grown children or someone that lives near that can lend a hand when needed. Sometimes people don't realize that it can be a drain on the one caring for the sick person & there is always something people can do to help, shovel snow, yard work, run errands, bring a meal, etc. Hope you get some help when needed!
Saw your comment today also and am curious about mulled wine, what is mulled wine? I have no idea!

Seaview, mulled wine is spiced wine (usually red) served warm or hot. Long ago it was heated by plunging hot irons into the wine!

Mulled wine is warm spiced wine yummy on a cold evening No change with my husband He has 3 grown up children and 10 grandchildren from previous marriage who he had lost contact with but I have managed to contact them and they have been to see him but do not live local all his other family are in Cornwall. I have no surviving brothers or parents and no children but has good friends one who lives next door to me also have carer hours so that I can go out occasionally and have some one stay with him. I do all the work in the house and the garden but took early retirement to care for him so am no longer working

Think I must have been a really bad person in a past life my first husband dies of complications following a heart transplant, just cant believe its all happening again but this time heart transplants is not an option. We have an excellent community heart failure nurse and GP don't know what we would have them

Crlyblonde I am glad you have some good friends that live close that can help you out. If taking care of your house and garden gets to be too much ask for help as a lot of people wont help until they are asked and then are more than willing to help once they know you need it and they know they are not imposing. Just don't wear yourself out if you need more help.
Where is Cornwall? I have heard the name but cant place it. I am thinking England but maybe I am wrong.

House and garden only small so doesn't take a lot of doing. Cornwall is the south west tip of England the farest west is landsend with a sign post saying New York 3147 miles

My brother in law was 95 in July

he was Stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, watched as the Japanese kamikazes sank four ships and damaged four others, killing and wounding more than 3, 600 American troops and civilians.
He was standing at the mouth of the harbor and watching everything unfold, it left him shocked and unable to believe what was happening. Never before and never again did he feel true fear and helplessness, he said.
