Never had any stuffed animals. I did have a Raggedy Ann Doll that was soft but I didn't sleep with it.
My son had a sweet little baby blue bear he slept with given by friends.
I'm not fond of stuffed bears except Pandas. I bought one of those for our grandaughter when my son was still alive.
My youngest son had a ton of stuffies. Now I wish I still had some of them to keep some of his childhood memories alive now that he too is gone. Sorry for the loss of your son, pixipixil.

Thanks, Mamag. I don't have his bear but I kept a little Lego character I named "Otsa-gotsa-pies" because he looked like an Italian pizza pie maker. I have him next to two photos of my son. Did you also lose your son?

Yes, I did. It will be 11 years on Sept. 20th. He was 21 and he took his own life. I now advocate for suicide prevention and awareness. The only man in my life now is my oldest son and of course Chip my little beagle. My dad, husband, father-in-law have all passed away. The last two deaths were my husband and FIL last year.

Thank you, Pixi. If what I do can save even one life, then Jake's death will not be in vain. Through the advocacy, there is now a 3 digit number for suicide hotlines just like there is 911 for emergencies. FCC approves '988' as the new 3-digit number for suicide...

in 1984 we bought a double wide mobile home
it had a microwave in it

I still have my two teddy bears from when I was little. My favorite one had to have buttons for eyes when he lost the original ones, I had to sew up his back when I whacked my big brother with my teddy and it broke the key off the music box, and he's very thread-bear. ;)
