Lots of good eating for them.

We are gaining our phrase one starting Monday--restuarants and maybe a few other things I can't remember. Should be interesting with all the rules and regulations.

My Dad grew sunflowers in his garden for the winter birds. When we lived up in Connecticut. The birds would hang-out in trees waiting for my Dad in the morning to give them their seeds. They loved sunflower seeds, plus all the other foods my Dad would give them. :)

Where in Ct? I have a cousin that lives in East Granby, not far from the airport. Have spent some summers and a few Christmas times there.

Good day to All! The Sun is out and I think we be in the 80's today!

I was up late last evening hope to get sooner tonight. Not sure I am ready for May!

Hi Elijah13,
I grew-up in Southington, Hartford county, west of the river off I-84. I miss the fall season there and a the festivals and fairs. Otherwise, I do not miss the winters with all the ice and snow. Been living here in FL since June 1994.

I love to go up there in the fall. Leaves are so pretty. That's one thing I do miss here.

I agree Elijah13, our fall is nothing at all. Leaves just turn brown and fall just before Christmas. I do miss the vibrant colors. I used to live up in New Hampshire, for one year; went for the job. The tiny country roads were drapped with trees and hanging branches full of colored leaves. There was a carpet of leaves on the roads. Beautiful to see, but watch out if it rained, very slick and difficult to stop. Like black ice. Such memories.

Somewhat challenging, but it was still fun!!!! I don't like yellow jackets at all, however.

Do you know that when a bumblebee is feeding, you can actually stroke his abdomen? They get so content they don't even notice you. Disclaimer - I haven't tried this yet!

All you've got to do is get the bumblebee to stay still long enough. lol

Wonder how they got those bees to pose so nicely spaced.
