Harder than I thought at first glance, but I really enjoyed it. I did it in the 192 Classic, which I've learned to enjoy a lot. It was intimidating to me at first, but I jumped in and gave it a good try, now I'm glad I did.

Have never seen basting brushes like that. All I have seen are the cheap ones! I rarely use a basting brush so really haven't looked for them.

That's what I use too, dbnc. Of course, no one wants to eat my neon green chicken (last paint used! ) lol

What nice coloured basting brushes these, and one finds they are better than the ones with nylon or the hair ones, I find these are more hygienic to use than the others. Thank you once again team for this one.

I also have one of these basting brushes and as everyone else has said...they are so much better than the nylon ones, which never stood the test of time. Also they do clean up really well!

They look like they are plastic. Do they melt?

Love bug if you leave them near a pan which has come off the stove yes they do melt, one has to be extremely careful when taking hot stuff from the stove.

New to me! Wonder if they really work well. I think I will stick with the old-fashioned turkey baster thing; you know, the tube with the squeeze bulb on the end. I suppose that if I had one, uses for it might show up. I dunno.

I use mine to put bar-b-q sauce on ribs, etc.

Annie, are the brush-like things soft and pliable or stiff as they look?

Love mine, no bristles to fall out, go thru the dishwasher just fine, use them to baste things in the oven & the grill.
Have even used then to put a jelly or jam sauce on a cake.
All the ones I have now are heat resistant.

Cool, CatLady. Are they soft or stiff?

Soft and flexible and seem to last forever, I've had some for 5 or more years at least.
