Now seems to be a good time to ask you puzzlers where you are from. A year or two ago I started keeping tract of the homelands of you dear people. In early 2015 I had representation from most of the 50 United States. The only ones left were Nebraska, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. I also had 22 countries, including Holland, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Russia. Puzzlers have come and gone but I found it so fascinating to see where everyone was from. So if you wouldn't mind please either use your flag as an icon or include it in your comment. I'm from Michigan by the way.

Hi Annie, Just before you started keeping track, I was living in N. D. and before that I was in Wyo. I'm glad that you are still trying to collect the states and countries. As I stated sometime last year, I'm in Co. now. Good luck on your collecting.

Thank you all for replying to my plea. USACatwoman, you are added to my list, that makes 4 from Connecticut. I find this so interesting to find out where all of my Puzzle Friends are from. goof1953, Orinoco and Coravee I already had your locations. That makes 7 from Colorado, and 10 from Indiana and just 1 from Spain.

So if we want to remember where some friend is from, we can apply to you, you may have their country! Neat! I only remember 3 or four from other countries, 4 or 5 different states. USACatwoman, I love the 127 hexagon if they have definite horizonal lines, so I do them first in 48 to see if I think I can do the more difficult hexagon. But I do like the hexagon best.

Hi, Annie 1749

I'm based in deepest, darkest rural Lincolnshire in England. So deep, dark and rural we still have the Pony Express delivering our mail. I've been doing C4J for two years now, and am particularly fascinated by your form of spelling the English Language!

Love these old trees - although this one is still a baby by the looks of it. They are scattered all over the "veld" here and grow to enormous size. As a child we used to eat the fruit - cream of tartar - directly out of the pods. Tart and delicious. They always remind me of home.

I never thought of cream of tartar as being good to eat by itself.

Your flag is that of South Africa but you mention home as though you are no longer in SA. What part of the world are you in now?

I am still here in Johannesburg. Lived in UK for 10 yrs and just could not get used to the grey and cold days. Def a sun baby. The fruit is very tart but refreshing. Almost like Sour Worms (do you get those where you are??? )

Shortshoughton, I think the entire world has Sour Worms now. They almost crowd out my favorite Gummi Bears.

Good to be back, still having problems with the computer.

Thanks pixi, I have been told the problem is with the hard drive and the computer is only eight months old. Have to take it back, but don't like my chances of getting it fixed gratis. Hugs.

If it's under waranty and they are usually for a year, you should be good to go. My iMac went dead in the waranty period and they fixed it free. Mine was only the switch. It just stopped going on. Now every time I have to turn it on I am anxious.

I'd never heard of baobob trees until I read "Le Petit Prince" for french class...and the symbolism escaped me (was probably too busy translating! ) Anyway, it's one of many trees including redwoods and sequoias that I'd really like to see up close.
