There is still time. I know someone who learned from instructions on the internet. She made a scarf for me and I get compliments whenever I wear it.

I am so glad so many people taught me how to do chores. I have never learned to knit, tho my son knows how.

My mum locked me in the family room when I was nine with a ball of wool and needles. Two hours later I'd lost every stitch I started - she gave up after that. I HATE knitting!

Ha-ha. Don't blame you.
I find all housekeeping tasks I had do as a child. All the others I don't seem to mink as much.

I find all housekeeping tasks I had do as a child to be the ones I hate most.
Sorry. My mind must have given in to wander lust again.

During WWII, people were encouraged to knit scarves for the soldiers. Our elementary school decided to help out. Oh my! i'm not sure anybody would have worn what we had made. Lol

I love knitting. But you should see all my works in play or wips as we call them. Let's not go there! I've knitted all my life but with a bit of a break when I hit my 20s. Started back up at 40, but in the meantime, I'd been getting into other crafts. Yes, I'm crafty :P

Used to do lots of craft things--no crocheting. Never learned that. However, not any more. My last endevidors were latch hook rugs. I have a big round one with a seagull (blew a picture up and traced it on the rug backing--about 70" round. Took me a long time but I have had it for about 40 years and still use it in my computer room.

I had to make one of those for an art project in high school. It took so long and I had mononucleosis so I couldn't burn the midnight oil to finish, that I asked other teachers if I could work on it in class while they lectured. One actually said yes!

I also have a big wall hanging over my fireplace that I did a long time ago also. Then I have made a few small rugs for people. Did one for my grandmother of a water spanial that lived with her and her daughter (my aunt). Now I just use my iPad and computer. Have learned so much from articles on the computer. It keeps my mind clear and functioning.

I used to do rug hooking. In fact, have a few kits that are waiting for me. My stepfather, who is no longer with us, gave me one. And I just can't give it away. I know that you all understand that. Then there was macrame. Plant holders galore :) Cross stitch, again, quite a bit of stuff. I should pick that up again. And when I was a kid, learned how to crochet. I have a blanket where I went round and round, in a square. The completed project went to my mother. I was 8 at the time. I got it back when my mother was moving into something smaller when my Pops died. I love doing jigsaws but have gone electronic on those. Both here and on Facebook. Happy New Year, everyone!

I'm electronic for jugsaws also. Afraid that if I put puzzle pieces on a card table to do, at least one of my cats would have pieces all over. Very easy electronically. All I have then is one cat sitting in front of the keyboard, but I can still use the "mouse". She has to move when I write a comment.

I was an art major and my cats used to hide behind the corner of the room when I would draw something large on the floor. Then they'd come charging out at the pencil full speed and "buzz" me. I got the biggest kick out of that.

I used to do macrame. I have a hanging full of artificial flowers that I made for my now deceased aunt. I had made a paper bird that sat on a hoop perch insiode but my aunt's dog detroyed it. Now a ballet Barbie sits in it.

Loved doing this. However, no crafts anymore. Use computer to learn about many things I never knew. It keeps my mind active.
