At a local market, they have a huge supply of pumpkins ---- and a surprising number of them are white. I suppose if you have a modern home with muted colors, white might fit in. I'm thinking not so if you have children! Better stick with orange!
On the TV we are being told not to have Thanksgiving family gatherings. I think besides Christmas it's the saddest time to have to stay apart. I bet the phone lines will be quite busy that day. We have spent Thanksgiving alone for so many years it won't seem different to us. We went to restaurants for a few years but decided the meals were a rip off. I have some leftover stuffed manicotta in the fridge I made for our anniversary. Will probably heat that up. If not I'll make the turkey and stuffing and freeze the leftovers.
I wonder what the homeless are doing now that the cold weather has begun.
Our best friends and one of my husband's brothers and his wife are both in tough spots being advanced in age but now losing their health and not having planned ahead for having to leave the circumstances they are currently in. Please pray for them to make the right choices. Thank you.
