I've been enjoying some Ginger Gold apples, which I'd never heard of. They're really good. All green but sweet and crunchy.

Never heard of that type. My husband is the apple lover.
He likes Pink Ladies best.

Just the thing to keep the doctor away. Speaking of which, I haven't seen elijah13 post in a couple of days. I hope hope her back isn't giving her more trouble. Also haven't seen Aussie post in a bit either. Prayers for both of them.

Another grey day. This is what most of the year is like around here. We have the same amount of sun as Seattle...not much. Although this summer was wonderfully sunny for which I say thank you, Lord.
There is supposed to be a lot of precipitation this winter due to the La Nina influence on the jet stream. Last spring we had no apples few cherries and few crabapples which I can only suppose was due to a warm, almost snowless winter. May the extra snow this year will bring an explosion of blooom in the spring. Hope I survive to see it. Hope we all survive.
May we all be like the plants who find a way to grow given the smallest opportunity.
