Any idea what time it is? I would have liked to have seen Prague when I was in Vienna years ago, but, technically, at that time, it was still behind the Iron Curtain during the last days of Communism. Supposedly, I could have sold my Levi's for close to $100 per pair there, but, in doing so, I could have been arrested or been ripped off because not knowing the exchange rate for dollars.
Not me, good old Walmart Riders are just fine with me, $20.00 is plenty to spend on jeans....

Or Salvation Army is even better-- not Goodwill, the price is more than Walmart.

According to my doctor, my diet is excellent, I exercise daily, but the diabetes makes it very hard to lose weight. Am looking forward to summer so I can get out and walk in fresh air again, not shopping malls!

My hometown of Sedalia, MO had a Levi's factory. There was a store about a block away from the factory and, if they didn't have your size, the shop's owner would go over to the factory and get a pair that was your size - no matter how small or large.

So far have stayed just under those magic number, but some days I feel like a rabbit...also use a tread mill & bike, both indoor one but no motors on them, also do aerobics, at the moment we are trying to get my blood pressure back to expectable levels & will also have my sugar levels checked again soon too, also have to watch cholesterol levels. All the good stuff seems to off limits.

I am pulling for you CatLady. The weight loss is quite an accomplishment. The other problems may be hereditary, and therefore difficult to control.

Coravee you are right about Goodwill. It used to have good buys but not any more. For that matter WalMarts also used to be better but it still beats most other places except Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul and other church affiliated thrift stores.

Bopit, I still live in Alaska and our summers are relatively cool, usually around 65-70. Had both my knees replaced last year - April and Sept - and after lots of PT, I use the YMCA and work out on the treadmill, usually a mile or more for balance, and various machines to build strength in my legs. There are no mosquitoes in the Y!

Glad to hear it, aknan. Keep on keeping' on! My best to you in beautiful Alaska
This is one of my favorites...it's fun and not too hard or too easy plus it's attractive. Theres a lot of info on that timepieces. I recognize the sign for Pisces so apparently it tracks the zodiac. It has a world map so I bet if you move the hand over a place on it the time will adjust to what ti would be there. Can't figure what crepusculum or occasus would be.
