Love elephants. I have a collection of over 300 in my livingroom. All different kinds from crayons, paper shredder, water bottle cover, slinky, and everything else. Everytime I think there is nothing different, my son finds another different one.
Elephants are one of the smartest animals - and they do have incredible memories. Elephants that were familiar with another elephant from decades earlier, will recognize that elephant. I saw something were an elephant was brought to a sanctuary - that elephant was almost immediately recognized by another - they had been in the same circus decades earlier. While the new elephant was quarantined, the other elephant stood by and they intertwined their trunks - even though they could not see each other. It was pretty touching.

Do you know why elephants paint their toe nails red? To hide in cherry trees.
Have you ever seen an elephant in a cherry tree? Works, doesn't it!!!!!
I felt like this was taking me forever but it was finished in my normal time. Guess slow and steady does win the race! Nice to see such huge creatures keeping their young in the safest place around - right at their heads!
