This is a beautiful fish. We had an aquarium for 15 years or more but as we are getting older it was getting harder for my husband and I to clean it. I wasn't enjoying it as much when the water wasn't glistening. We took our fish to a place that sell and take fish for people. They had beautiful huge tanks. It took awhile to get out of the habit of going over to feed them. I miss watching the babies grow up. We had a really big algae eater that when I turned the light on he would come right out from under his rock and look at me like I am hungry. Don't laugh but we did have a connection. It is one less thing we have to worry about now.
Have a day of good mental health. As my aunt used to say (she was a nun), " Be good to yourself. If you don't love yourself how can you love your neighbor? "
She was. My parents cut themselves off from most of their relatives but my aunt kept in contact with all of them. I'm sorry I didn't ask her about them when she was alive.
