These could be Jonagolds -- a cross between the crispy Jonathan and the juicy Golden Delicous -- one of the best applies I've ever tasted! Lovely composition in the photo. Thanks C4J. You're the best.

Have you ever tried English Cox's Orange Pippin I do not know of any other apple to touch them, crisp and sweet with a flavour of their own. I love apples especially with a piece of cheese.

Wow, the name is really interesting, and you make them sound mouth-watering! I haven't heard of them, but have written it down and will ask in Oak Glen, where there are several apple orchards, to see if any are grown hereabouts. Thanks!

I love apples! I can't eat them as much anymore though because my sister somehow became dangerously allergic to them.

Me too, I am allergy to quite a number of things at a age of 50, like apples, prawns, nuts, peach.

That is so unusual. One of the first fruits you can give an infant is apples. Wow. Feel for you!

Yeah, my sister had a baby (she already has an almost 18 yr old) last year at 46 and that's when the allergy came out.

My daughter just took an apple pie out of the oven for our dessert tonight! Fall is the only time we get homemade apple pie! Btw, I developed a lot of fruit allergies around the age of 50, also- melons, bananas, avocado...
