That looks delicious. Didn't get an apple pie this year. Got a pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake and a carrot bar cake. Bought the pie and cake from our Publix bakery. The cheesecake is from Walmart. I had intended to make my mothers pumpkin cheesecake this year, but ended up having neither the time nor the energy. Hope everyone has a wonderful meal.
I was diagnosed with lymphoma around Easter and went through 6 rounds of Chemo, which wasn't as effective as we'd hoped. Just before Thanksgiving I had T-cell therapy and was hospitalized for over a week. They needed me to be within an hour of the hospital for another week. Since we live about 2 hours away, I had to spend another week at a transplant house near the hospital. We don't know yet how effective the T-cell therapy is. I am still feeling kind of weak, but my immunity and blood cell counts are improving. The doctor seems optimistic. Thanks for inquiring.
