The sand sculpture is beautiful. One place I have not been. Just have to dream about it since I can't do that much walking anymore.

I know what you mean. We were at Lake Powell a few years ago but you have to take a three hour tour to get to this and I felt it was something we might not be able to handle. We took a raft ride down Glen Canyon instead which was great until we got caught in a freak thunderstorm and drenched. Lightening was flashing all around us. I was really scared.

Lightening is scary. Glad you did OK even tho you were VERY wet! I love reading about all these fantastic places. Many I have been to and many I just have to dream about because of age.

Seeing a gorgeous slot cnyon like this is on my bucket list but this particular one is a bit too strenuous for us these days. {:-(
There is so much you can see that it doesn't make sense to be sad over everything you can't see. Someday I'll find an alternative slot we can handle. There are hundreds out west.
