Thanks! I think the reason why there are so many birthdays this time of the year is that 9 months earlier or so, at least in much of the Northern Hemisphere, it was getting cold and couples would snuggle to keep warm, and....You know the rest.

My conception was a few months after my parents married. My dad was just home from WWII and worried the bomb might have made him sterile so he was in a hurry to find out which my mother resented. He wanted a boy and would buy me boy toys like cannons and tugboats. My mother didn't want to be saddled with a baby so soon after being married. They lived in my grandmother's house for 4 years which to me was always "home." It was removed to make room for a bigger playground as it backed a schoolyard.

Hahaha pixi. I went there years ago with my now ex husband. We slept in a pup tent and he told me next morning that a bear walked by it. So glad I slept through it and that the bear was not too curious. Hugs.

I don't stop to ogle bears and would be too scared to sleep in a tent in Yellowstone. I did see a grizz from an overlook and that was fine by me. Far away is where I'll stay. A huge Buffalo Bull caused a massive traffic jam as he decided walking down the middle of the highway would be a good morning activity.
