Having to brush an animal every day or so doesn't bother me at all. I find it an amazing opportunity to bond with the animal. They know that their human is taking care of them.
I really can't call that a pretty dog and I surely would not want to have to keep it groomed. And it looks like a working dog, loyal to the death, loveable and playful.
