Lol, I don't think not caring for a particular type of painting has anything to do with knowledge about art. Caring about any particular style of art has everything do to with personal preference. I, personally, am not fond of abstracts and especially not modern art (or modern buildings for that matter). :)

Trynfindit, what I meant to say yesterday is that you restored my some of my feelings of "intelligence"....not my "feelings of ignorance". I MUST remember to edit my posts before I hit "post reply". Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks!!!! LOL!

It's up to the eye of the beholder what you see - or feel - in an abstract painting. Could be more interesting and exciting than a beautiful landscape, if you ask me...
