One of the great things for non-Europeans when you travel to Europe - the Eurailpass. I don't remember the prices, but, they were fairly inexpensive and good for things like 15 days of train travel within 21 days. I know some countries have really upgraded their trains - like the French TGV - it was an incredibly smooth ride at 300 km/h (186 mph). The German ICE (Inter City Express) was a different matter - at least in 1992. As long as you were seated, the ride was great. Once you got up from your seat, it was a very rough ride. The club car had spilled beer all over the floor because you couldn't walk 2 feet without spilling. I hope they've improved those rails - I think they were using the same rails as other trains, but the TGV has dedicated rails.
Just look at that beautiful blue sky! It's miserable, wet and windy outdoors today, but I can travel the world - visiting lots of other countries - through the puzzles in this website :-D.

Beautiful morning here, but the weather is due to change this afternoon. Today is my wedding anniversery # 42, seems like a long time, but went so fast I can't believe it. We have had our ups and downs but wouldn't trade the last 42 years for anything.Everyone be safe out there.

Happy Anniversary, darambo! We had #43 a couple months ago and I know just how you feel. Life can be filled with stumbles but they never outweigh the blessings!
Weather wise...It's a warm, sunny day today, and we're expecting a snowstorm tomorrow night. Life in Colorado is never boring!
