Happy Halloween to all you puzzler's and staff. It's really looking like winter is right around the corner here in Indiana USA. I'm glad. I like snow and the holidays.

Lord, open our eyes to see You and to embrace what is most important each day.

God bless you all.

Love the prayer. Amen, and include me in the opening of the eyes.

Bless you too, Jingles.

Oh, for some cool weather! It was 88 here yesterday (n.e. Fla) and will be in the low 80s through next week. Ugh.

I'm in central Florida and am really annoyed with these temperatures. I have yet to have that morning where I wake up and feel some crispness in the air. We usually get some of that in October. I hope we're not in for a hot Christmas.

How cute is he (or she? ). I have something similar that I put out on Halloween, plus a big black spider on a large web by my front door. Boooo..

I have a small scarecrow in my front yard and call him Jake as he loved Halloween. I want to get a whole family of them. That would be me, Joe, Becky, Jim, Alicia, Ciara, Emma, Kim and Elly. These are my kids, grandkids, daughter-in-law and Emma's mommy. I think that would be so cool.

I love dolls of all kinds. I don't have a collection per se but I have 12 around the house and several more in the attic. None are Raggedy Anne types like this scarecrow. I prefer the fancier ones rather than the raggemuffin kind. My favorite is a Japanese doll I bought at a yard sale. She is made all of fabric and carries a stringed instrument and holds a woven grass hat with one hand. I had never seen anything like her before. She is unlike the mass produced dolls you see all the time in the stores.
My aunt used to work for the Bank of Manhattan and they would have doll costume contests which she often won and the dolls would be donated to orphans.
Wishing you a day of smiling faces.

My uncle bought me a ceramic Japanese doll 45 years ago, when he was stationed there in the Navy. It is beautiful the way it is painted, in one hand she is holding a fan. It is one of the few dolls I have left. Be safe out there

I love dolls
my dear daughter buys one every once in awhile
I didn't get many dolls when I was a little girl
today is my daughters birthday she is 68
I don't know where time went so fast
I am making her a 1234 cake
we like it plain with no frosting
we call it granny cake cause her granny made them a lot
they were so good
