I see I did this two years ago. It's just the kind of place I need right now. Would love to just drop out of my current scene for an indeterminate amount of time--maybe forever. Wouldn't trust being so close to the ocean in southeat Asia with their tsunami record but wouldn't mind chancing a short visit then go inland where it's safer.

I hope by now you will have had some respite in those temps! We have just moved and boy have had some cold days with heavy frosts :)

Hello - haha - am in the Waikato of New Zealand and tonight is going down to -4 (which is quite cool for us! ) Trust you are coping in the heat - I do think it is easier to get warm with fires and more clothing than to get really comfortable in the heat. Bless you

Oh, what I'd give for our temp right now to be -4 (24.8F).
And you are absolutely correct about it being easier to get warm than it is to cool off.
