Chips? Can you pu salt and pepper on them?? ;)

And keep a sense of humor. It doesn't mean you have to tell jokes. If you can't think of anything else, when you're my age, take off your clothes and walk in front of a mirror. I guarantee you'll get a laugh. — Art Linkletter

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

Abaci, if they're for poker, the chips are universally the same. If we're talking about food, "chips" in the UK and Australia are French fries in the US, while our potato chips area crisps to them.

Sorry - that's "are" not "area".

Hi Joycerogers, as I found out yesterday when I was laying on the grass and inspecting the sky unexpectedly. However I did some weeding while I was down there so not all wasted time lol. Hugs.

Aussie, have you recovered from your unexpected sky inspection? Shame on you! You should know to take better care of yourself...We need you! I do understand the "weeding" while waiting. I spent some quality time a couple years ago on my bathroom floor while waiting for three hours for my family to get home from church to help me get vertical. I cleaned all the baseboards I could reach and discovered all the little what-nots that the cat had chased under the cabinets. I was very proud of myself! Lol! Take care! Hugs.

Hi Joyce, my shoulders took the brunt of it and of course stirred up my arthritis, but did pretty well under the circumstances lol. I watered the garden this morning where I did the weeding and it has showed me how much more there is to be done!! But I will get there, maybe not today but sometime in the future lol. Hugs.

Two classes down and got an A in both.GPA went from 3.16 to a 3.25. I have two more classes before I get a 4-week break. I am doing my Iintrodiscilpinary Studies class. It is going to be tough. Then I am taking Special Education based on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is going to help me get a better understand of Autism and working with children with disabilities. Only 3 more left for 2019. I was going to finish in Dec. but I am taking 3 other classes. I am thinking of furthering my education to include Christian Counseling for elementary students. Not sure about that yet. So, that is what is going on with school. Hope you all have blessed week.

Wow! You are doing sooooo well. Congratulations!! My youngest granddaughter was diagnosed with Autism when she was 2. She didn't talk for years. We went down to see my daughter in 2017, and when my granddaughter entered the house she yelled, yes yelled, "Where's my mima? I need a hug! I need a kiss! " I couldn't believe the change! And this past school year she was in a regular classroom with an IEP and a special ed teacher that came into the classroom, I believe, once a week. She is doing so well and I have the highest admiration for teachers who go the extra mile for those kids with problems. You have a wonderful goal, mamag!

Mamag, I am so proud of you! First for getting such good grades! Second, for continuing on with higher education for subjects that will prepare you better for your chosen vocation. Third, for desiring to teach children on the Autism spectrum and children with disabilities. Bless you! My youngest grandson is on the spectrum, and his preschool isn't equipped to handle his special needs. So his mother (my daughter-in-law) has to quit her high level business profession to accompany him to preschool a couple days a week. The other days, she will spend taking him to physical and occupational therapy, doctor appointments, and fun interactions like gymnastics, swimming, ski lessons, etc, etc. All the courses you mentioned taking will help tremendously to prepare you to help children like my grandson. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! God Bless You!!

Thank you all for the kind words. It has been a tough journey. I just can't wait to finish. I want to work with kids who have special needs because these seem to just fall through the cracks. I have a student in my Sunday school who has autism. He is such a sweet kid. And very smart. I want to be able to give these kids a chance to be as normal as possible. Disabilities should not be a reason why kids can't be as normal as they can be. I worked with kids who were severely disabled and it is my passion to give them the best education I can. My next goal is working towards my Bachelor's in Christian Counseling for younger kids. I love you all and thank you again for your support. I need prayers that I can finish strong and get that degree for counseling which will take another few years.

Ah. Another cash crop. Drove past Vegas in June. Never stopped. Never want to. The allure of gambling is something I find hard to understand.
Hope what good you experience comes from God and your own hard work.

My youngest brother and his wife are dealers at the casinos in Connecticut. They say most people gamble as entertainment.

Changing the subject: did anyone notice that "Connecticut" starts with a word that means to join and ends with a word the means to separate?

Oct 24, 2018
Hi Aussie the leg is still in a sorry state and now I am being sent to different dept. in the hospital to rule oout some conditions that go along side the kind of ulcer it, like slow bleeds, arthritis and the worst one for me is sleep disorder. I have to go into hospital overnight in Nov. to be fastened up to machines and see what is going on. Hugs for you.
