I love peanut butter. Sometimes I just take a couple of spoonfulls and eat it. It's one of my downfalls--but I could have worst ones.

Not crazy about peanut butter but almond butter is the one I like. Great spread on apple slices as a healthy snack!

Lol oh I love peanut butter. I sometimes mix peanut butter and chocolate together. My dad and one of my grannies were hard of hearing. My mom had to repeat herself numerous times. I've seen some brands that have cinnamon and raisins in it.

Ugh! I was crying earlier today! I had lunch with my uncle and he informed hubby and I that my aunt died. I didn't even know! She died a month ago. I'll miss you deeply - great person and quite honest. A horse show judge - other horse owners would ask her for her opnion on their prize foals. She tell em oh sure but I'm going to be blunt honest. Yep she was honest - she'd tell em oh the left ankle is all lopsided - oh they didn't want to hear that.

I am so sorry about your loss and how you had to hear about it. Your aunt sounds like she was an interesting person with a lot of character. I'll be praying for your peace and comfort.

Ugh! What isn't with men? I told hubby that I knew a 23 year old who had 4 kids. He replies oh that was normal. My point was that this young girl couldn't afford to raise 4 kids at that age. Without skills and a decent job how could she afford to raise these children?

Aussie, I saw your remark about peanut butter having a lot of carbs.
I went to the kitchen and read on my jar of "Jif" extra crunchy with scads of whole peanuts throughout. It says that two tablespoons have only 8 carbs! 'Course I want gobs of it on toast with jelly! That certainly can up the carb count the way that I like it! Yum!

Looks so scrumptious, and full of carbohydrates lol.

I'll tell a story on myself tonight. I wear hearing aids under protest, because they magnify everything, not just the things you want to hear. I have learned not to comb/brush my hair when I have them in and went against this thought when I was watching TV yesterday. The inevitable happened and the hearing aid flew out and landed on the floor. I found the bit that goes behind the ear, but the other part escaped me though I sought it for about 45 mins. Usually when I cannot find things I say a little prayer and ask God to show me where things are, and usually within minutes, He does. Not this time as I forgot to pray. Did so, and something made me touch my ear, and lo and behold (you guessed it!!! ) it was in my ear the whole time lol.

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

Strange how those crazy things happen. I'm always finding something I've done like that. Some time ago I was putting on my earings and dropped the back piece. I was getting ready for work and spending all this time looking for the back part of my earing. Well, I just took the other one off and put on a different pair. When I got home that evening and taking off my blouse, there was my other piece of earing in the part that runs down the front of your blouse where the buttons are at.How it got in that place I'll never know. It's the placket that is folded and where your buttons are at. I never did figure out how it got in there.

I also wear hearing aids--but not all the time. Only when I go out with someone or to some place I will need them. I hate them. Don't wear them when I am home alone. I don't need to hear my cats meow! They are very expensive so glad you found it.

Hey aussiesapphire, I have a similar story about one of my pill containers. The "Friday" segment got lost for about a year. Last week I dropped a ring on the floor and when I got down on my knees (quite a feat! ) to look under the bench where I thought the ring had rolled, there was my "Friday" pill container.....the good Lord helps me find things, but not necessarily when I want Him to.

So glad you found it, aussie. Wish my Dearly Beloved would wear them. I'm getting tired of repeating myself!

Wearing hearing aids can be very frustrating and I have had quite a few. They are getting better in concert with technology. They are very expensive but as my hearing changed, in my 30's, it was suggested by my Ear, Nose and Throat specialist to consider using them. After getting over the "Vanity" thing, I did and without them I would not have been able to work in my profession, Technical Training. What pushed me into wearing them was what My Doctor told me. As your hearing worsens it could affect your speech due to your ability to discriminate between sound a like words (hear, dear, beer, fear, etc.) which can lead to embarrassing reply's while conversing. It then could affect your social life leading to not wanting to go out in the public. I didn't want that to happen and even though the Aids can be frustrating, they are well worth it.

You are 100% right. Years ago when I was a young atheist an elderly co worker told me he and his family had prayed for the return of his daughters stolen car and he said "you probably think that silly", and I said no, I had no real opinion about it. But I never forgot and as I began to learn the truth of Christianity I began to employ that same technique, you are quite right and so was he, when I sit quietly and ask Lord Jesus to show me where the lost item is the location will pop into my head, great point to raise
