Get out of my head! We were just talking about muesli last night!

That happens to me all the time. If there's no reason for an idea/thing/event to come up more than once, then I call it a coincidence. Otherwise, I think it's not by chance, and just has a connection I haven't perceived yet.

Good thought, abaci. Sometimes, it takes a bit for the connection to become clear.

Nice puzzle. I have never tasted muesli.

My husband hasn't, either. It can be dry and chewy unless you pour hot milk on it and let it sit. One local brand has so much dried fruit, nuts, shaved coconut etc in it that one bowl is over 500 cals! I love it but never buy it because of that.

My Mom used to make muesli. It was great. Moist, full of flavour and just the right balance of everything. I have to say that I miss it.

My turn to ask for healing prayers. Took hubby to Urgent Care this evening, and they sent him on to local hospital ER. XRay shows pneumonia and, combined with his COPD, he's having a hard time breathing. I just got home and am very tired myself. Getting old ain't for sissies.

I am s sorry LuvsWestern. I will definitely be in prayer. My husband has COPD and emphysema as well. I am so afraid he is going to get sick with the flu or pneumonia even though he had both shots. I am taking the Spring semester off so I can take care of him. Being a caregiver is a lot of work. But I would not change it for the world. After 40 years of marriage, I would not want anyone else doing what I do for him. Keep us posted on how he is doing. God bless.

Prayers said for your hubby and yourself. The hospital and doctors will take care of your hubby but please rest and take care of yourself. You are right getting old is not for sissies. Be safe and please let us know how things are going.

Prayer for His will to be done. I, too have emphasema and had pneumonia last month. It's very scary to not be able to breathe.

Prayers for you & hubby. I believe the quote "getting old ain't for sissies" is a quote from Bette Davis if I'm not mistaken

Thanks to everyone for your prayers. I just spoke to him and he's breathing much easier than last night. Too early to tell if they'll let him come home today (I got the impression they might before I left him last night), but he'll need to be on oxygen when he does come home. Thanks again to everyone, and also for your concerns for me. I looked up the "sissies" quote and it does come from something Bette Davis said, which was "Old age ain't no place for sissies." How true. It's probably the Good Lord's way of helping us finally let go when our time comes. God bless you all, and, as Aussie says -- Hugs.

Awww - So sorry to hear - Absolutely will I send prayers. Hubbys mother had to be taken to the ER. After X-rays they couldn't find anything. Her doctor did X-rays and found the beginning of pneumonia. She had a bladder infection as well.

This year the flu is more serious and pneumonia is getting into patients lungs much more quickly. Send healing prayers for you both! I recall when my hubby had surgery. The doctors told him he couldn't do anything for 2 months. He arrives home and she's trying to do stuff. He couldn't lift his arm. Yep that's what he did - I gave him some stern words!

Dear Luvs, you have my prayer that your hubby recovers fully and quickly, that his doctors are guided by God's hand and that you take care of yourself. My hubby had his 13th surgery last Nov and he's got MS so I know what being a caregiver involves - one can get worn out quickly.

Dear LuvsWesterns, prayers said. I coined a phrase a few years ago which says "I am not getting old, just closer to God." lol - helps me a lot at times. God bless you. Hugs.
