Makes me hungry and I haven't had breakfast yet. Have to bring Blu to Vets to see if she has lost any weight. The problem is picking her up and getting her into the cat carrier. Well, will go find her now and see. Will have to be in the cage about an hour but can't help it. Wish me luck finding her.

Hope the vet visit goes well. They always sense their going to the vet.

Have you tried putting a bit of her favorite food at the enclosed end of the carrier? Sometimes that will work. Here's hoping all goes well with your vet visit.

I found it impossible to put one of my cars in a carrier. Even treats wouldn't work. I ended up wrapping her up in a towel and then putting her towel and all right into the carrier. That works!

Should be cats instead of cars!! Lol

Very clever, with the towel! That's the way we were taught to catch skunks, too. Sneak up quietly behind them, and put the blanket on them tightly and quickly so they can't spray. Then, take them out to the forest or out of town and let them go, blanket and all! lol

Don't think I'd want the blanket after a surprised skunk was wrapped in it...

I put some wet food in her dish and she started to eat it and I swooped her up in a towel. Last year weighed 15.6 lbs and now--10 months later weighed 13.3 lbs. However, when I found her in Oct. 2014, she weighed 6.7 lbs. I've had her on a diet for about 3 months. The vet said I was doing fine. My other cats food is where she can't jump to get it, but they can.

Elijah, I'm glad you were able to get her into the carrier. That's good news about her weight loss!

Yes, I'm glad the towel trick worked. It's good that you were able to get her weight down too.

Blu is a begger when it comes to food. She is always pestering me. Now I give her a good dose of wet food morning and night and very little dry during the day. I just keep saying 'NO".

I saw on the news last night a cat weighing 25 pounds. Poor cat could hardly walk. Keep up the fight begging.

Last October Blu weighed 15.6 and last week weighed 13.3. I took her in early to make sure I was doing the right thing the right way!

Like everything there for a great Italian dish...except the olives. Never acquired a taste for them.

Tastes can be so different, I love olives and don't like strawberries. Usually the other way around lol. Hugs micki

I'd substitute fresh shrimp for the salami - at least, most of it - and have you a freshly prepared meal in about 20 minutes. Bring that bread, rahrah!

A friend of mine had an Italian wife. She used to cook like this...I remember eating spaghetti she made. Said she cooked the sauce slowly for almost two days. Best I had ever eaten

That looks like an interesting mix.

Take care and God bless. Hugs.
