I had a neighbor years ago with an Irish Setter - they're such beautiful, friendly dogs. His was a lighter color than this. I don't know how often he had to take the dog to a groomer - there's a lot of hair on these dogs.
I don't know a single thing about this breed. This one looks to me like it should win the Blue Ribbon!
(We need some puzzles featuring Maltese--the adorable ones! Mine is snow white, weighs 9 lbs., has a long curly fluffy tail, big soulful black eyes, and floppy ears.)
We had an Irish setter named Whiskey down the street when I was a child. Our dog was a little Peke named Peanut. Peanut and Whiskey were the best of friends and they made quite a picture romping around the neighborhood!
