So colourful - love the country and the language and am trying to teach myself Italian, but it is a little bit slow.

Remember that it is the actions, and not the commission, that make the officer, and that there is more expected from him, than the title.
GEORGE WASHINGTON, Address to the Officers of the Virginia Regiment, Jan. 8, 1756

Dale Carnegie: "If there's one secret of success it lies in the ability to get the other's point of view and see things from that person's angle as well as your own."

"Your work is the single greatest means at your disposal for expressing your social intelligence." ~ Robert Greene

I especially like the quote from George Washington. Many people seem to think that the only thing that matters is the "title" you have when, actually, it is what is in your heart that really matters. Take care, my friend, and blessings to you and yours.

Not too hard a puzzle. Looks like a nice town to visit. Late doing puzzles today.

It seems that might be a dry riverbed in the foreground with a bridge over the "river" to the right.
