I haven't done a 63-piece BRICK puzzle for a LONG time, but it amazed me that I did it in under 22 minutes for a quilt picture. Now I'll be willing to try the BRICK cut more often.

Don't care for this design nor the colors in it. However, I do love quilts.

I was going to say the same thing, elijah13, but then I saw what you posted and so I'll just say......I agree. Orange has never been my favorite color and I just don't like the flower patterns added on to it.

So pretty, I really admire those who do this very painstaking craft. Well done.

Take care and God bless. Hugs.

I, too, admire people who do painstaking work. I can sit and watch them all day.

They have a clothesline quilt show at Edison Ford house. Not sure just when but if in the area you might want to check it out.

At first glance I thought it was machine sewn --- but I don't think so.
My grandmother would approve!

My oldest son moved out on his own when he graduated from high school. One day he asked me to show him how to quilt. I was surprised and wanted to know why. It seems that the quilt his grandmother gave him had gotten torn and he wanted to mend it. He knew that his grandmother had spent a lot of time and love on that quilt. I never really knew the the values I had instilled in both my sons until they left home and had to make their own way in the world. It's a good feeling to know that they know what's important and what's not.

I remember the women getting to0gether and gathering a big pile of scrap material and starting to make a quilt. They never seemed to have a particular pattern in mind but the quilt always turned out beautiful...We all had one or two on our beds. they kept us toasty warm on the coldest Nebraska nights.
