Love these boxes of pastels. Never did art in this medium, however, I must add that no one who ever saw a drawing of mine would mistake me for an artist. I mean it. For example, I once drew a birthday cake with candles on top inside of my partners birthday card. He looked at it and said "why did you draw a picture of a dead bug lying upside down". See what I mean. LOL

Micki, you crack me up, and not just with this post, but often. I think you are a delightful person gifted with the ability to help people find humor when they need it most. I needed a smile this evening, and there you were! Thank you for sharing your gift.

Thank you so much rahrah1820. I'm impressed with your response. Some puzzles I do find humor in, as I do with life in general. I have not seen your icon before. Are you new to this site? Hope I see more of you. You can't see it, but I'm smiling at you.

My hands are too shaky today to work the puzzles with any speed, but I enjoy doing them anyhow.
Mar 28, 2016
The enjoyment of just doing the puzzles is enough for me. Don't care about the speed.
Mar 29, 2016
Me neither. this took twice as long as the leaders, but it was perfect for Hexagon - and fun!

As a child in the 50's, I was taught that speed was not important when compared to completing a project and doing it well. At 63, I still believe this teaching. Of course, we must proceed at a reasonable pace. Being retired, I find that my pace is fine. And so is yours, ParsonWayne!

Have I mentioned that I am so hyper that I completed a 21 day fast in 5 hours and 23 minutes?
Mar 30, 2016
